Ulead Ulearn

UleadUlearn is a Professional Training Company based in the Dallas-Fortworth Metroplex, in North Texas.  The company was established to deliver a new approach to professional development, leadership training, and education. Our company was founded by Dr. Dean Aslinia, an Adlerian trained and orientated mental health professional and licensed psychotherapist. Dr. Dean with more than 10 years of  graduate (Masters and Ph.D.)  level teaching experience, realized his most effective and rewarding courses were those that were led by his students.  He would provide them with a series of high level choices in determining the topics or discussions that would enhance their learning and to put the knowledge into practical context.

The takeaway after a decade to such teaching experience led to the discovery that students and clients that lead their own learning and are able to customize the training agenda, not only take away so much more from the trainings, but also, retain the information for much longer durations.

The Adlerian connection and importance in Dr. Dean’s training connected his teaching philosophies with the theoretical viewpoints of Adlerian Psychology (also known as Individual Psychology) on the world. An Adlerian trained psychotherapist, in short views a person as a holistic individual, meaning that in order to understand a person’s true psyche one must recognize that they are embedded in the environment and society in which they live.

As a result, the psychological assessments must analyze the person’s perceptions of them selves, their love and family connections, their work, their spirituality, and their connections of social interest.

Psychological research has concluded that individuals that live with a sense of community, or that operate with the assumption that their work can directly, or indirectly work to better their society and community seem to be much better psychological adjusted.  This knowledge led to connecting that the education that UleadUlearn provides should also create a bigger sense of accomplishment than simply learning more knowledge.  That while we are fortunate to have the opportunity to learn or educate ourselves, there are those that are continuing to struggle around the world and need some of the most basic access to clean water and healthcare around the world.

This understanding, led to ULeadULearn to partner with charities that work hard to help individuals in dire need, by providing humanitarian assistance.  As a result, each year, ULeadULearn donates 10% of it’s annual profits to charities working help children and families around the world. In this manner not only have participants and clients of UleadUlead gained a wealth of knowledge through their client or student-centered trainings, but also have had a major social interest contribution to humanity as a whole.

What We Believe

  • Learning should not be something that simply gives you facts and statistics, it should inspire you to take action and make others’ lives better.

  • Learning should not be mandated and required, it should motivate you to seek knowledge.

  • Learning should not be packaged how an instructor best knows to teach, it should be student-led so that the student learns based on their readiness and priorities.

  • Learning shouldn’t intimidate and control through grades, micro-management, and other pressures, it should facilitate autonomous creativity and critical thinking.

  • Learning should not be solely for competing in the world, it should be used to make the world we live in a better place.

  • Learning should not be so expensive that only a select class can have access to the knowledge base, it should also help those less fortunate gain the access they desire.
